La canción trata de una chica llamada Betty, que es preguntada por sus amigas si tiene una cita con Jimmy, el líder de una banda de motoristas. Betty se queja de que sus amigas le dicen que deje a Jimmy porque no le conviene, ya que vive en un mundo turbio y oscuro. Pero al final Betty lamenta que no hace falta que lo haga, ya que Jimmy ha muerto en un accidente con su motocicleta.
