La televisión de Países Bajos ficha a John de Mol para su preselección para 2012

Cansada de los pobres resultados logrados en los últimos años, la televisión de Países Bajos (TROS) ha decidido cambiar de formato para elegir a su representante para Eurovisión 2012. TROS ha decidido aliarse con John de Mol, una personalidad televisiva en toda Europa, creador de formatos como el de Gran Hermano y The Voice y uno de los hombres más ricos del mundo según la revista Forbes, para desarrollar el formato de preselección para Azerbaiyán de forma conjunta.

El plazo para mandar canciones a la televisión holandesa finaliza el 30 de septiembre. Cualquier persona interesada en participar podrá mandar sus canciones, sus letras y el nombre de los artistas que les gustaría ver sobre el escenario de Eurovisión representando a Países Bajos en 2012. La final televisada tendrá lugar en enero de 2012 con seis o siete candidaturas luchando por el pasaporte holandés para Azerbaiyán.

Two weeks before the deadline: The Netherlands: Over 100 entries submitted

According to the Dutch public broadcaster TROS, the number of entries submitted to the country's national selection for Eurovision, Nationaal Songfestival 2012, is "well beyond 100".

September 30th is the last day to submit songs for the Dutch Eurovision selection 2012. So far, two weeks before the deadline, TROS has reported that over 100 entries have been received.

Broadcaster TROS and television personality John de Mol will select six or seven songs to enter the televised show Nationaal Songfestival 2012. The national final is expected to take place in January.

The Netherlands will be seeking its first qualification for the Eurovision final since 2004. This year, 3JS represented the country in Düsseldorf with the song Never alone.

More than 450 submitted songs
The Netherlands: Nationaal Songfestival on February 26

Dutch broadcaster TROS revealed today that the Dutch national final, het Nationaal Songfestival, will take place on February 26 next year. Last night, the broadcaster's director Peter Kuipers closed the suitcase in which songs could be submitted. TROS received more than 450 songs.
Two weeks ago only 100 songs had been submitted, but during the last couple of days singers, songwriters and arrangers massively responded to the call for songs. The Dutch broadcaster received 200 more songs than back in 2005, the last year the country had an open selection. TROS director Peter Kuipers: 'We knew that many people were in the process of writing a song, but this really exceeds our expectations. In recent months people have been working really hard on that special song that should bring the Netherlands to the final. All of these efforts underline once again that the contest has a future in our country.'

A special committee will judge the submitted songs during the month of October. About 6 to 7 acts will be selected for the national final which will take place on February 26. TROS will reveal their names by the end of November. The Dutch national final will be produced by media tycon John de Mol, the man behind internationally successfull tv formulas such as Big Brother and The Voice.

Some more or less known artists have submitted a song for next year's competition. Gordon (one of the member of De Toppers, ESC 2009) dares another attempt, trying to take revenge on the unfortunate outcome in 2009. This time he will try his luck being part of the group LA The Voices feat. Belinda. Two days ago, Bearforce 1 headed towards Hilversum to submit their entry Action man, penned by Gerard James Borg and Dimitri Stassos. The Dutch gay dance music band already showed interest in the past, but they never got the exclusive invitation from the broadcaster. Brandi Russell has submitted several songs in the suitcase. In 2008 she was one of the 3 winners of Dutch TV show Popstars which resulted in the formation of the band RED! This summer her song Leather and Lace was one of the theme songs of Stockholm Pride, an annual Swedish gay event.

De momento de los "candidatos" holandeses me gusta Jeronimo y el duo de la chica rubita con el otro castañito xdd. (no me acuerdo de los nombres xddd pero estaban en el otro foro si mal no recuerdo).
