Danish broadcaster DR reports that no less than 678 songs were submitted. A committee will now listen to the songs and will choose the lucky ones to participate in the show on January 21st.

There is an increase in the number of the songs submitted: 15 songs more than last year, while the submission period was three months longer than this year's.

Among the submissions, there are some familiar names: Ivar Lind Greiner (composer of Danish entry in 2004), Kim Schwartz (DMGP 2006, 2007) and Niels Brinck, who represented Denmark in ESC 2009.

"This year, I have submitted a couple of rock songs. I hope they will make it to the DMGP", said Brinck, and he will not deny that he himself should be on stage if one of his songs are selected.

A committee will choose six or seven songs out of the submissions, and DR will invite established composers as another three or four wildcard, making a total of ten songs to participate in the show, which will be held in Aalborg on January 21st. Tickets for the show will go on sale starting this Friday, September 30th, through Billetnet.dk.

En serio vuelve Bryan, joder que guay! me encanta la idea, por dios, si él va que gane el grand prix de una vez y que gane el festival de eurovisión, sin duda sería una gran representación de Dinamarca para el festival.

Pero una pregunta donde pone que él se presenta para el grand prix? porque no lo veo

Las combinaciones Bryan Rices + Breathings hay una cada 5 años o algo asi, asi que habrá que esperar para que se junte algo tan bueno musicalmente (En estilo pop).

Dinamarca si sigue como los últimos 3-4 años, no tardará mucho en ganar.
