Kiyomi, es una debutante en el mercado musical, hija de madre japonesa y padre maltés, se presenta por primera vez a un concurso con su single "High Ladder".

GRECIA


Grecia debutó en la segunda edición del Eurosong, y desde entonces no ha fallado en ninguna ocasión. Esta 50ª edición marca, entonces, la participación nº 49 para Grecia (y la 46ª para Chiriko). Su mejor marca es un quinto lugar, obtenido por Despina Vandi e "Ypofero" en la undécima edición, y ha entrado en el top10 en solo cinco ocasiones más.

En esta ocasión tan especial, Grecia ha decidido mostrar una cara distinta a la habitual, y se ha inclinado por el power metal melódico de...

BEAST IN BLACK

La banda, liderada por el griego Yannis Papadopoulos, lleva en activo desde 2015 y desde entonces ha gozado de buenas ventas con sus dos discos en Finlandia, donde están establecidos, hasta el punto de ser teloneros de Nightwish, representantes finlandeses en el Eurosong III.

El tema que Beast in Black interpretarán en Gotemburgo está compuesto por Anton Kabanen, compositor y guitarrista de la banda, y se titula...

CHIPRE



Chipre debutaba en el Eurosong en su segunda edición de la mano de euro_erudito con "Pass the flame" obteniendo el pase a la Gran Final donde finalizaria en decimotercera posición.

En la actualidad el pais chipriota regresa al Eurosong después de 7 ediciones sin participar. La ultima vez lo hacia en la edición 44 de la mano de Metaxas con el tema "Selene" que tras quedar cuarto en su semifinal lograba un octavo puesto en la gran final.

Desde aquel octavo puesto el pais chipriota y 7 ediciones sin presencia regresan al concurso de la mano de LOUIS



El joven cantante chipriota participó en la la primera edición de "The FActor X" que se emitió en Grecia. A partir de ahí ha tenido colaboraciónes con Anna Vissi y Antoni Remos entre otros artistas.

Para el regreso de Chipre al Eurosong, Louis tratará de llegar lo más lejos posible con una canción pop con ritmo actual coyo titulo es DEMENOI STO SAGAPO y que pasamos a presentar a continuación:

En esta ocasión, los abanderados de Andorra serán el grupo Txarango, formado por 9 chicos de la localidad de Ripollés, Catalunya con la canción Una lluna a l'aigua:

La "Tierra del Fuego" aka Azerbaiyán presenta su candidatura para la quincuagésima edición del Eurosong. El honor de representar al país en esta edición histórica será para el joven y emergente Elvin Novruzov, mejor conocido como L'veen. "Dərdverən" es el tema elegido para competir en Gotemburgo, un pop con claros tintes electrónicos que muestra una cara más moderna del panorama musical azerí. Los dejamos con su videoclip:

Una vez finalizado el plazo de votación en la pre de Letonia y tras haber sido aceptada nuestra propuesta por el organziador, Letonia presenta su canción para esta edición 50 del Eurosong. En la siguiente imagen podéis ver los votos de los foreros y foreras que han participado en la pre. Muchas gracias a todos ellos!!!



Como se puede ver la canción 3 de nuestra preselección se ha impuesto con claridad a las otras dos contrincantes, aunque ha sido sobre todo al final cuando se ha destacado. Por tanto, nuestras representantes serán el grupo Tautumeitas, con la canción folk Raganu Nakts.



El grupo está formado por seis chicas que cantan y tocan música tradicional letona aunque también incorporan sonidos más modernos y actuales. Se han hecho conocidas en el país tras su paso por el Factor X letón. El nombre hace referencia a las jovencitas en edad casadera en la cultura letona, pero hoy en día se usa para designar a las mujeres vestidas con la ropa típica del país.
